Modeling of microstructural evolution in materials using computational approaches, such as molecular dynamics, kinetic Monte Carlo, and first-principle calculations
Coupling Self-Evolving Atomistic Kinetic Monte Carlo with machine learning technique to improve saddle point sampling
Developing an interactive parallel algorithm to do saddle point searches and determine the energy landscape
